The HIL-Series inline filter is used to protect high-pres sure hydraulic systems up to 5,000 PSI. When installed at the pressure side of a pump, the sintered bronze filter element can trap all debris larger than 25um to prevent damage to the valves in the system. The design and performamce is similar to the HIF-Series filters, but allows the filter element to be removed without breaking the line connections. Filter cleaning or replacement is as easy as unscrewing the filter access cap.
The strong yet lightweight anodized aluminum housing can be ordered with special viton O-rings for oil systems where chemical action or heat may
be a problem for the standard Buna N; O-rings. The standard 25um sintered bronze filter element can be easily cleaned or replaced. Filter elements also available in pore size of 10, 40 or 90um.
