SMC's series VXK21/22/23, 2-port solenoid valve was designed with a Y type strainer installed inside the body to remove foreign materials mixed in fluids before they enter the actuating part of the valve (armature), as well as preventing the flow of foreign materials to downstream equipment. This unique filter design improves valve performance, stops leakage, and ensures longer valve life. The VXK series is available in AC or DC power options, in both normally closed and open valve types. It has IP65 enclosure accreditation and is ideal for use with air, water, oil or steam.
