These rugged Percussion Core Bits are designed for the heavy-duty hammer-action electric tools. Special carbide tips used are designed for continuous hammering action and matched with extra tough alloy bodies to give maximum drilling life under the most demanding conditions.
• Bodies are drilled and threaded to receive 3/4-10 threaded shank
• Tough alloy body’s for long life
• Deep spirals for fast dust removal & reduced heat build-up
• Specially engineered percussion carbide tips
These core bits can also be utilized for heavy rotary drilling, using standard rotary core drill shanks. They can also be used for rotary drilling in diamond core machines by using a conversion adapter.
The Percussion Core Drill Starter Bit is interchangeable with all type 605 Percussion Core Drills. The Starter Bit is used to make the initial starting groove and then removed before drilling is continued. To be used only with 1-1/2" diameter and larger core drills.
